Eun-Soo Lim holds a master's degree in climate and society from Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in environmental science from Barnard College. Before joining SEI, Eun-Soo worked as a program assistant for the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI)-Local Governments for Sustainability.

As a research associate at The Climate Institute in Washington, DC, Eun-Soo researched and assessed the impacts of climate. While working with The Climate Institute, she served as a policy analyst for GridPoint, where she did research and created a database of state incentives for solar power.

At SEI, Eun-Soo supports many projects, including the development of the California Sustainability Alliance's best practice guide for sustainable, zero-carbon communities, the San Joaquin Valley's clean energy program, educational programs engaging youths in energy auditing small businesses, and the Building Operators Certification (BOC) program.
