Jeffrey Summerville graduated with a master's degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Iowa. He has more than 4 years of experience as a project manager, primarily in the field of affordable housing finance. Most recently, he worked for EAH, a nonprofit housing development and management organization, writing affordable housing proposals and managing projects for affordable housing development. His projects included securing tax-exempt bond financing and low-income housing tax credits for two affordable housing rehabilitation projects, preserving 60 units of affordable housing.

At SEI, Jeffrey's primary focus is on sustainability initiatives in the affordable housing sector, including serving as a program manager for the Housing Energy Program and the California Sustainability Alliance's Affordable Housing Pilot.
