Sandy Wallenstein is the program director for K-12 education at Strategic Energy Innovations. She comes to SEI with experience as the director of curriculum for the Ross Valley School District, Marin County. In addition, Sandy was the founder of the Department of Education at John F. At SEI, Sandy is responsible for the energy education programs that involve youth and include: Awareness for Communities about Energy (ACE); Planet Energy, a summer program for youth; Green Dorms, which includes an energy education program in colleges and private high schools in Southern California; and the development of K-12 curriculum in collaboration with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD).
