County of Marin

Marin County is in the North San Francisco Bay Area of California, across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. As of 2000, the population was 247,289. The five-member Marin County Board of Supervisors enacts ordinances, determines policies, adopts annual budgets, fixes salaries and supervises the activities of county departments.
