This program was funded through a grant from the California Community College State Chancellor’s office to the Center for International Trade Development at Skyline College. It provided the local solar industry a pipeline for properly trained installers. The grant accomplished the following goals through two principal mechanisms: 1) development of a solar installer training program for incumbent workers and 2) marketing of this program to enroll industry support and to sign up students.

To assist in the fulfillment of the Solar Installer Training Grant for Incumbent Workers SEI staff provided support in two primary focus areas: curriculum development and program marketing and outreach.
