Current Sustainable Communities Programs View Completed Programs

The City of Visalia, hired SEI and partner to conduct the City’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory and to develop a preliminary Local Climate Action Plan.

In May of 2009, SEI was granted $25,000 from the Heller Foundation to support development and implementation of the Climate Protection Pilot Program.

Strategic Energy Innovations and the San Joaquin Clean Energy Organization are co-presenting the second annual Farming Clean Energy Conference, scheduled for Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at Southern California Edison’s AGTAC in Tulare.

With financial support from Valley CAN, SEI worked with the San Joaquin Valley Clean Energy Organization (SJVCEO) to help City of Arvin staff to develop and implement a comprehensive clean energy program.

With Support from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District , SEI and partner, the California Sustainability Alliance, developed a Toolkit to facilitate climate change policy development and piloted this toolkit with the City of El Cerrito.

On behalf of the state-sponsored California Partnership for the San Joaquin Valley, SEI, with guidance from a diverse 15-member Steering Committee, recommended the design and operations of a regional clean energy organization to serve the 8-county region of the San Joaquin Valley.

Starting in the Spring of 2008, Strategic Energy Innovations (SEI) staff has served as a lead consultant to The Marin Community Foundation (MCF) as the Foundation defines a new strategic initiative around climate change.
