School Sustainability Policy Guide

School Sustainability Policy Guide

SEI’s School Sustainability Policy Development guide is designed to explain school policies and regulations, how they are created, and the economic, environmental and social benefits they can produce. The guide simplifies the complex task of policy development and implementation. SEI has provided examples of existing policies and regulations that address issues in a wide array of sustainability topics, including energy, water, waste, mechanical systems, lighting, building envelop and solar panel systems. In addition to examples, the guide also includes templates to give policy writers the opportunity to create brand new policies tailored to your district and school.
