Casey Fritz, Associate Project Coordinator

Casey supports the K-12 education programs at SEI, including Energize Schools and Zero Waste Marin. She supports energy and sustainability curriculum planning and implementation at high schools across California; project manages the Zero Waste Marin program and Zero Waste Schools San Pablo programs for SEI; and is part of the grant writing and development team.

Prior to joining SEI, Casey conducted various different kinds of field and lab research, including lab research on ocean chemistry at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and field research on the Great Barrier Reef and in the San Francisco Bay. She also volunteered as a Mentor through the Sage Mentorship Project in the science classroom of a Berkeley elementary school. She facilitated a wide range of experiments, helped research and implement new ones, and helped teach material.

Casey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine Science and a minor in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
