Casey Fritz, Nonprofit Leadership Fellow

Casey supports the K-12 education program at SEI, assisting with curriculum planning and instructional support. She also works on Zero Waste Marin projects and energy conservation projects with local schools.

Prior to joining SEI, Casey volunteered as a Mentor through the Sage Mentorship Project in the science classroom of a Berkeley elementary school. She facilitated a wide range of experiments, helped research and implement new ones, and helped teach material. She also conducted various different kinds of field and lab research, including lab research on ocean chemistry at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and field research on the Great Barrier Reef and in the San Francisco Bay.

Casey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine Science and a minor in History from the University of California, Berkeley.
